Born in New England to Caribbean parents, Khia spent her early years bouncing around the East Coast and the West Indies, soaking up cultures and shaping her love for design and all things visual.
Her college years took her to Hampton University, where she earned a B.A. in English. And after that, she went to the Portfolio Center in Atlanta and honed her skills in graphic design.
Since then, Khia has worked in print, packaging, brand development and industrial products, but she's spent most of her time in the fashion industry.
Namely, she worked as Lead Men’s Graphic Designer for the Azzuré brand and was also the original Head Graphic Designer for Beyoncé’s Deréon and House of Deréon brands.
She has designed and brand consulted for Heatherette, Disney, Enyce, Sean John, Rocawear and Jordache.
Currently, she lives in New York and can be contacted at: khia@khiajackson.com
